The spring 2013 original musical production of The Phantom of the Opera begins rehearsals on Apri 1. Performances will be held at MTC the week of June 10. The MTC Players select cast performance will be held in June (Date TBA). The winter 2013 original musical production of The Little Mermaid begins rehearsals on Jan. 7, 2013. Performances will be held at MTC the week of March 18. The MTC Players select cast performance will be held March 17 at the Arts Bank Theater on Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia. MTC's Theater productions are limited to 13 actors. Every actor receives a named role with spoken lines and singing. Actors progress from Junior Stage productions (grades 1-4*) to Main Stage productions (grades 5-8**). Select actors may perform with the MTC Players. Private acting lessons are available for actors of all ages. Our Theater instructors have degrees in Theater and specialize in cultivating young actors. * Actors in grade 1 must audition with the
theater director prior to confirming enrollment.
