Musical Theater - Fall 2012 Production

The legendary story Les Misérables has been adapted especially for young actors in this original musical production of Victor Hugo's 1862 novel.  Mature themes of the Broadway show have been omitted and the story focuses on Hugo's themes of justice, compassion, and forgiveness, along with a great deal of wit and humor from the original text.

This music score is original, as with all MTC productions (not the Broadway score), but is in a similar style to the Broadway score.  Preview the music!

The cast of Les Misérables includes a narrator, Jean Valjean, Jeanne (Valjean's sister), Javert, the Bishop, Madame Magloire, Fantine, Cosette, Eponine, Gavroche, Marius, Coralie, Madame Thenardier, Monsieur Thenardier.

Rehearsals begin the week of September 24.  All actors perform in productions at MTC Dec. 10-13.  The MTC Players (select cast) production will be held at Drexel University's Mandell Theater on Sunday December 16, 2012.
