Bianca Waltz

Piano Instructor

Bianca WaltzBianca Waltz is a graduate of Temple University Ester Boyer College of Music, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance as well as a certification in music therapy.   Bianca continues her studies at Temple University towards completion of a Master’s Degree in Piano and Harpsichord.   

 

Bianca began her piano studies at age four, and was a first violinst in the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra from 1995-2000.  Bianca has since performed throughout North America and Europe and in many local performances throughout her studies at Esther Boyer College of Music.  Click here to see a Bianca performing Preludes No. 6 and 8 by Alberto Ginastera.

 

In 2000, Bianca performed Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata in the Awards Recital at Carnegie Hall.  Bianca was a performer with the Blue Rhapsody Steinway Tour in the U.S., Artist Evening in Hamburg, Germany, and Flying Farmers Convention in Ontario, Canada. 

 

In 2002 Bianca performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Sinfonia Youth and Wilkes Barre Chamber Orchestras. Bianca has appeared on German TV (SWR Station) as part of a Christmas Special in Baden-Baden as well as on WVIA in Scranton, Pennsylvania, as part of the radio station’s Simply Grand Young Artists Concert.

 

In May 2011, Bianca was a speaker at the Waldorf Astoria Conference Center in Italy on the topic of performance anxiety, and utilizes her knowlege in this field to help her students.

 

Bianca has been teaching students of all ages and skill levels since 2005, and is very enthusiastic about sharing her love of music with all of her students.
