Benefits
Students learn to perform in real musical theater productions,
under the direction of theater professionals. Our theater
directors have college degrees in theater, acting experience, and
are great with kids. Children who progress through our
program develop skills, experience, and self-confidence that will
benefit them from years to come.

Players performance
Classes
Students attend weekly rehearsal classes leading up to each
season's performance. Each student receives a script, and a
music CD containing their songs and practice tracks.
Separate classes are offered grades 1-3 (Junior Stage ensemble
production) and grades 4-7 (Main Stage full production).
Students abilities are assessed during the first few weeks of each
class, leading up to casting of the play in the fourth week.
Performances
Children perform in a dress rehearsal performance and a final
performance in MTC's theater. Up to 4 guests may be invited
to each performance. Children of the highest merit and
maturity are selected from casts across all Music Training Center
schools to perform the play for the public at the end of each
season.
