Created especially for children
in the elementary school age range, Music Training Center’s
Musical Theatre classes provide a
great educational, social, and confidence-building experience.
We limit our productions to 12
children, so that all children receive prominent
lead or ensemble roles. Each
child gets to act, sing, and dance through nearly all
of the production. Each child receives a script and
a practice CD containing the musical accompaniments.
Some plays also include a practice DVD illustrating
the dances and other choreography used in the play
Our stage has professional
sound and lighting, giving the children a truly rewarding
experience
* A small number of children under
the age of 6 may be accommodated in each group at the
discretion of the director.
Attendance is mandatory at all rehearsals and
performances
except in case of unavoidable emergency or illness
 Kelly
Stallard, Director of Musical Theater Programs
Theater Director (Conshohocken, PA)
Kelly is a graduate of
Syracuse University, with a degree in Music Education
and Voice. She has performed leading roles in
shows ranging from Grease to West Side Story.
Her Music Directing
credits include The Dickens Festival in Skaneateles,
The Wall, and Godspell.
 Alisa
Stamps
Theater Director (Ardmore, PA)
Alisa is a graduate of
University of Wisconsin, where she earned a Bachelor's
degree in Choral and Music Education. Alisa has
over 10 years experience as a public school choral music
director, choregrapher, and dance instructor.
Alisa directs Music Training Center's Musical Theater
productions at MTC's Ardmore, PA location. In
addition to directing children's theater at the Music
Training Center, Alisa is the stage director for the
Philadelphia production of Tony N' Tina's Wedding, and
teaches at The Academy School in Philadelphia.
