Joe
Aiello - Drums
Joe holds a Master of Music Degree from the New England Conservatory of
Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He has studied with Frank Epstein of the
Boston Symphony Orchestra, Michael Bookspan of the Philadelphia Orchestra,
jazz great Freddie Waits and Philadelphia icon and drum teacher Al Ipri.
Joe was on the music
faculty and head of the percussion department at the University of
Southern Maine and has been teaching privately for over 20 years. Many of
his students have gone on to successful music careers having graduated
from West Chester University, Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Berklee
College of Music. Joe is a published composer of percussion
music having been reviewed by John Beck of the Eastman School of Music in
Percussive Arts Magazine.
Joe has been the stage
drummer and lead percussionist with many musical productions in the U.S.,
Canada, Europe and Asia. He was the drummer and percussionist for the
national and international tours of the theatrical production “I Can’t
Stop Loving You - The Genius of Ray Charles” and performed with the
touring Broadway cast of “Ain’t Misbehavin”. He has performed in showrooms
at Caesars’ Hotel, Resorts International, Harrahs Resorts and Trump Hotel
and Casino in Atlantic City. He has performed with legendary jazz
vocalist Chris Murrell of the Count Basie Orchestra in clubs and concert
halls throughout the world.

Barry
J. (B.J.) Capelli - Drums
B.J. is a
graduate of Rowan University
with a Bachelor of Music in
Music Education and Jazz Studies. He
has also studied at Berklee College of Music, Florida State University, and
Illinois State University.
B.J. has over 21 years of playing and teaching experience,
and is well versed in nearly every style from classical, jazz, and folk; to
rock, pop, funk, hip-hop, reggae, punk, and metal.
Originally
hailing from the Jersey Shore, B.J. has maintained a private teaching practice
for over 12 years and is a NJ certified teacher (K-12 music) that has taught
band, percussion and general music at Mainland Regional H.S., Southern Regional
H.S., Egg Harbor Township H.S., Lakewood H.S., Sparta H.S., Upper Township
Elementary School, Somers Point Schools, JazzRockBallet Dance School, Cherry's
Music and many others. Ensembles under his direction have won numerous awards
and accolades, and many of his students have become successful performers
in a number of venues and gone on to attend the Interlochen Center for the
Arts, Berklee College of Music, and several acclaimed university music programs.
B.J.
has performed and recorded with The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, Ocean
City Pops, South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble, several artists including Jim
Yester of The Association, Linda "The Piano Princess" Genteel, and The Stan
Hunter Trio; and with his current band,
The
Flight .
He has performed in venues such as the House of Blues, Sandcastle Stadium,
The Trocadero, and CBGB, and shared the stage with acts such as Smashmouth,
Lostprophets, Boys Like Girls, Wesley Willis, Oleander, Marvelous 3 (Butch
Walker), The Aggrolites, Ruder Than You, and Houston
Calls.

Scott
Grande
-
Drums
Scott is a graduate of Berklee
College of Music in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion.
In addition to his studies at Berklee, Scott also studied at Glassboro State
College, Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts, and the Haddonfield
Conservatory of Music. He has also studied privately with Gary Chafee,
Dean Anderson, and many other renowned drummers.
Scott has been performing and teaching for over 15 years. He recently
performed as the Drummer for Kickdoubt, a Modern
Rock cover band based in Philadelphia. Prior to teaching at the Music
Training Center, Scott taught since 1999 at Farrington's Music School in NJ.

Dan
Kauffman - Drums
Dan is a graduate of the Millersville
University School of Music, with a Bachelors Degree in Music.
Dan started playing guitar and piano at 14.
After attending Millersville University and
living in Olympia Washington for a few years, Dan
returned to his native east-coast roots to further
his career.
Fluent in most types of music including Rock, Funk,
Jazz, Folk, Americana, and Classical, Dan continues
to play in Philadelphia's most prominent live venues
such as World Cafe Live, Grape St., Puck,
and many upscale bars and restaurants while teaching a
4-day week at MTC. Former Philadelphia 76'er, Charles
Barkley, after hearing a rendition of James Taylor's
"Country Road", remarked that Dan is his "brother from
another mother". Dan continues to write, record, and
perform in the Philadelphia area.

Dan
McVeigh - Drums
Dan Mcveigh is a graduate of
The University of California at Northridge with a B.A. in percussion
performance. Dan also studied at Drexel University and at The
Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, and with Virgil Donati,
Danny Gottleib, Horacio Hernandez, Will Kennedy, Chuck Silverman, and Fred
Dinkins.
Dan has been playing drums for
over twenty-two years, and has over ten years experience in teaching,
touring, and recording. His experience includes Drum and Bugle Corps, Marching Band, and Orchestral drumming.
Dan was the 2005 and 2008
regional winner of the Guitar Center Drum-Off, and has authored his own
Drum Book, "The Growing Teacher." He has performed at World Cafe
Live, The Trocadero, The North Star, The Troubadour, and The Key Club in
Los Angeles, Arlene's Grocery, and The Knitting Factory in New York, and
Nectar's in Burlington, Vermont.

Joshua Steingard -
Drums
Joshua is a graduate of the Berklee College Of
Music with a Bachelors Of Music Degree in Professional Music and Drumset.
Joshua started playing drums at the age of 9
and has years of gigging, recording, and teaching experience in Boston,
Philadelphia, New York, Salt Lake City, and Montreal. While attending
Berklee, Joshua studied under drum legends Rod Morgenstein, Mike Mangini,
Kenwood Dennard, and Skip Hadden. He has also shared the stage with bands
such as Soulive, moe., Brothers Past, Will Lee, and Tally Hall. Joshua
even received praise from Billy Joel saying, “He’s a monster!” after being
in the audience for a show at Berklee.
Joshua is currently performing with R&B/
reggae/pop artist Erin Barra, out of Brooklyn, NY, and rock/dub reggae
trio Sugar Mama, out of Boston, MA.

Nick
Wight - Drums
Nick is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education
and Jazz Performance. While at Temple, Nick studied percussion and jazz drum
set with Glenn Steele, Bill Kerrigan, Dan Monaghan, and Steve Fidyk.
In 2008, Nick performed with jazz ledgends Benny
Golson, Bruce Barth and Terell Stafford at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for
the Performing Arts, and at the Detroit Jazz Festival with the Temple University
Jazz Band featuring Benny Golson. He has also performed at Lincoln Center,
Ortlieb’s Jazz Haus, Chris’ Jazz Café, and La Rose Jazz Club. He also
toured in Holland with the Temple University Jazz Band performing at The Hague
Jazz Festival, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and the Bimhuis.
