Simon's
Fund saves children's lives by raising awareness about
heart conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death.
Simon's Fund provides free heart screenings to students
throughout the Philadelphia region, educates parents,
pediatricians, school faculty, and other child service
professionals about the warning signs of the conditions that
lead to sudden cardiac arrest, promotes research of sudden
cardiac arrest in children by providing scholarships for medical
fellows at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and
Influences public policy to support the mandatory screening of
children’s hearts.
